A1 Community Works & The National Data Bank
Please tell your sponsors about A1 Community Works & The Good Things Foundation.
We can offer a sim card to any Refugee or a Ukrainian now living or about to arrive in North Yorkshire. The sim card has unlimited free texts and calls in the UK, or there is a Data Sim.
Please promote this scheme to sponsors and tell our Ukrainian guests about the scheme. To get a sim card, either email karon@a1communityworks.co.uk or ring us on 01609 591 080. The Aim is to provide free internet access to those unable to get online.
Telecom companies are working with the Data Bank by providing SIM cards to anyone over 18 from a low-income household with no access or insufficient access to the internet.
We are covering North Yorkshire.
Vodafone and O2 are part of the Data Bank scheme giving the sim cards.
We can provide any person qualifying under the scheme with a sim card that will work for at least six months. The Vodafone and O2 sim cards offer free calls and texts in the UK. Three is providing data cards
A1 Community Works will discuss individual needs and decide which SIM card is suitable for the applicant.
This programme is also to support people living in North Yorkshire who are over 18 from a low-income household and have no access to the internet from home or when away from home Contact A1 for more details
